The idea
Start here.
What is Human Capital .+?
A model for building personally owned professional AI augmentation over a career so technological productivity can progressively reduce the amount of human time required for work while preserving human economic benefit.
What does the “+” mean?
The + is the person's accumulated professional augmentation: capability developed through years of human experience, teaching, correction and supervised use. It is not meant to be a generic chatbot or a replacement identity.
Is the goal to replace the worker?
No. The core aim is the opposite: use automation to remove required work from people's lives rather than remove people from economic participation. The + should increase the person's leverage and return time to them.
What is Time+?
Time+ is verified productivity gain that has actually been converted into reduced required human working time. Saved minutes are not automatically Time+; the gain has to be real, measurable and reflected in the working arrangement.
Ownership & employment
Who owns what?
Who owns the +?
The design principle is that the personal augmentation layer belongs to the worker and should be portable. That principle is not the same as claiming every legal and technical boundary is already solved.
What remains the employer's?
Employer confidential data, customer information, proprietary documents, protected IP and employer-specific access remain in the employer workspace and should not travel with the worker.
What happens when someone changes employer?
The intended model is that generalized personal capability travels while protected company information does not. Distinguishing the two reliably is one of the hardest unresolved technical and legal problems in the project.
Why would an employer agree to give time back?
Because the Time+ Agreement is meant to share verified productivity gain rather than allocate all of it to one side. The employer retains a defined benefit, the worker receives durable time, and part of the gain may support continued + development.
Measurement & economics
Saved time is not enough.
Does one hour saved equal one hour of economic value?
No. A reduction in human minutes only matters economically if useful output, quality, avoided cost, lead time, risk or some other agreed measure confirms real value. Human Minutes Required is a measurement tool, not an automatic valuation formula.
What is the Time+ Agreement?
A pre-agreed mechanism that establishes the baseline, measures verified gain and determines how that gain becomes employer value, continued + development and durable Time+ for the worker.
What does “18+9” mean?
It is an illustrative professional identity notation: 18 years of verified human professional experience plus 9 years of verified development and use of personal augmentation. It is evidence-oriented, not a social score.
Boundaries
What are we not claiming?
Does Human Capital .+ make UBI unnecessary?
No. Human Capital .+ explores whether worker-owned augmentation can prevent some technological productivity from disconnecting workers from income in the first place. UBI and other safety nets address broader problems that this model does not automatically solve.
Is Core 1.0 proven?
No. “Core” means this is the current defined model, not that its assumptions have all been validated. Participant Zero exists precisely to turn claims into measurable evidence.
Could the + become surveillance?
It must not. The Charter treats non-surveillance, human agency and clear employer/personal boundaries as core principles. A system that achieves productivity by converting the + into employee surveillance would violate the model.
Process
How do we show the work behind the idea?
What is “Behind the scenes”?
A short end-of-day development note that summarizes meaningful Human Capital .+ work: what we explored, what changed, what remains unresolved, and whether the session affected a Perspective or surfaced a possible Core change. It is a summary, not the raw chat.
Can one working session publish a new Core?
No. A session can discover or propose a Core change, but the release decision waits for a later review session. A major release should reflect accumulated change in the model, not one isolated conversation.
