The Human Capital .+ Charter

A plain-language constitution for a worker-owned augmentation system whose purpose is to convert technological productivity into greater human autonomy and time.

Ownership firstHuman autonomyPortable augmentationTime+
Purpose

We automate work out of human lives.

Human Capital .+ exists to help people build a professional augmentation throughout their careers, retain meaningful ownership of what they build, and use the resulting productivity to reduce the amount of human time required to create economic value.

Technology should not only let people do more. It should eventually let people have more life.

The platform is therefore not designed around maximum automation, maximum output or maximum employer control. Its central question is simpler: how much useful human time can be returned without destroying the value, dignity or sustainability of the work?

Principle 01

Your + belongs to you.

The portable professional augmentation a person deliberately develops is treated as part of that person's accumulated productive capital. Platform design should make ownership meaningful through portability, access control and exportability rather than merely describing it in marketing language.

Human experience + deliberate teaching + personal investment → personally accumulated augmentation
Principle 02

What belongs to the employer stays with the employer.

Worker ownership does not erase employer rights. Confidential information, customer data, trade secrets, proprietary designs, protected intellectual property and employer-specific credentials remain within the employer's controlled workspace.

The aim is a clean boundary: portable capability can travel; protected company information cannot.

Principle 03

Productivity gain must be shared by agreement.

If augmentation removes human effort or creates additional economic value, the benefit should not be allocated only after the worker has created it. A Time+ Agreement should define the baseline, measurement rules and sharing logic in advance.

verified productivity gain → worker Time+ + employer value + continued + development

The exact split can vary. The principle is transparency: each participant should understand how improvement changes the working arrangement.

Principle 04

Time+ must be durable.

Once verified productivity has been converted into Time+, the reduced human working requirement should become part of the agreed employment arrangement. It may be renegotiated when work materially changes, but saved hours should not silently be refilled simply because the + became successful.

Principle 05

Your + is not your surveillance system.

The augmentation should learn with the worker, not become a hidden mechanism for minute-by-minute monitoring, behavioral scoring or reconstructing every hesitation and mistake for management.

Design rule: data required to improve the + should be separated from data that would enable unnecessary worker surveillance.
Principle 06

The human must keep growing too.

A mature + should remove repetition without quietly eroding the person's underlying ability to judge, learn and intervene. Human competence and augmented competence should remain visible as separate dimensions.

This is why the identity notation preserves both: 18+9, not one opaque score.

Principle 07

Evidence, not social scoring.

Human Capital .+ may verify education, experience, task histories and demonstrated capability. It should not reduce a person's worth to one opaque ranking. Credentials should remain interpretable, challengeable and relevant to the work being considered.

Principle 08

Retirement becomes autonomy.

Retirement is treated as a gradual reduction in required human participation rather than a cliff at one age. The destination may be zero hours, a few hours of chosen professional involvement, mentoring, licensing of mature capability, or another arrangement chosen by the individual.

37.5 → 30 → 25 → 20 → 10 → 5 → optional
The test

Every feature must answer one question.

Does this give the person more durable capability, ownership or time?

If a feature increases employer control while weakening individual ownership, it conflicts with the charter. If it increases output without an agreed path for the worker to benefit, it must be challenged. If it turns verified improvement into durable capability, fair employer value and real human time, it is aligned with Human Capital .+.
