THE PLAN - ENERGY

Energy should have a visible state.

The finished system is solar-first, buffered by a small battery and backed by the EV. The guest should see one simple state, not the control complexity underneath it.

FUTURE BOOKING STATES

Turn limited energy into understandable availability.

These are target states for the finished system, not claims about current booking readiness.

SITE READY

Available to book within the site's defined consumption limits.

Buffer battery charged and normal solar availability.

The site can support the stay without relying on the EV reserve.
RESERVE MAY BE NEEDED

Available, but the EV reserve may be needed.

Buffer charge is low or expected solar input is limited.

The booking flow should make the reserve requirement clear before arrival.
EV REQUIRED

Available only with the EV reserve present.

No usable buffer charge and no adequate solar input.

The site is honest about the energy state instead of hiding it as a limitation.
Done
E01

Electricity available from EV

The current site can be powered from the EV; this is not yet the final booking-ready architecture.

In progress
E02

Load model and control strategy

Define how essential loads, heating, hot water and general loads share limited power.

E03

Smart and safe PDU

Build the protected control layer that can measure, shed and restore loads safely.

Planned
E04

Solar generation

Solar becomes the primary energy input because a conventional grid connection is disproportionately expensive for the site.

Planned
E05

Small buffer battery

A modest battery smooths normal operation rather than trying to store unlimited energy.

Planned
E06

Managed EV reserve integration

The EV becomes the deliberate reserve bank when site energy is not enough.

Planned
E07

Three availability states

Expose Site ready / Reserve may be needed / EV required as understandable booking states.
